KITES & KITE FLYING PART 2

I immediately joined them and eventually became Chairperson and coordinator of Brighton Kite Flyers and had the privilege of looking after the club Library, for several years, which was handy having lots of kite plans at my fingertips.

The aim of Brighton Kite Flyers is to encourage others to enjoy kite flying, and give any needed assistance to those just starting out.
We have a current membership of about 100 made up of people from all age groups and all backgrounds, so come and join us!
You might be asking why do I need to join a club to fly a kite, well simply put you do not, but there ARE advantages.
NO 1. You can nearly always find someone to fly with, which is very handy when launching a new kite for the first time, especially a large one.
NO 2. You
get up to date information on all new kite developments.
NO 3. Location and dates of all kite activities, both local and world wide, including Kite Festivals, (often with special traveling arrangements and subsidized fares etc:)
NO 4. If you join Brighton Kite Flyers, jointly with the Kite Society of Great Britain, you get a quarterly magazine full of tips and information about kites, as well as third party Insurance cover, and ALL for just twenty pounds a year.
WHY NOT JOIN TODAY?

For more detailed information contact our club Secretary.
